Re: Jacobsen Eclipse 122F restore.
I think as long as you are cutting under 1" you should be just fine with the 15 blade reel. I have an 11 blade and it cuts just fine up to 1" which is about as high as I can go.

Re: Prodiamine tips?
I would mark off an area like 1-2K and add some water to the tank and spray that area and see how much water you use so then you will know what your application rate is. Does that make sense?

Re: Prodiamine tips?
Have you calibrated your sprayer? Do you know how much it puts out over a given area at a given speed? I know you said that you use it with round up but with prodiamine you will want to be a little more accurate on your application.

I can confirm that you can flip it around and use it in a pulling position but it tends to fling crap all over you

Re: Kombi-type power broom/sweep?
I've used it to move the trimmings from the bushes and clean up debris from the Spring scalp and dethatching and to move the cores around after aeration. I mainly use it during spring cleanup time. I've also used it to remove light snow too.

Re: Kombi-type power broom/sweep?
I have the Stihl Power Sweep(Rubber Paddles) and it is awesome for cleaning up the lawn of any debris. I will say that it is quite heavy but once you learn to let the tool do the work and try not to fight the tool, it works fairly easy. From what I have read and seen, the paddles are more for the la...

Re: Height of Bermuda for Winter
The lower you have it going into Winter the less you will have to remove come Spring time when you scalp. I wouldn't be too concerned about the height of the grass as most golf courses will keep there fairways at well under 1" through the winter and they seem to do just fine, year in and year out.

Re: Grass looking funky....
I use to get the same crap from my wife but then she started getting compliments on the lawn and saw it as a sense of pride. She even became a member here :). She doesn't post that often. Just give it some time and I'm sure she'll come around. +1 what Tony said. You could have a lot worse vices than...

Re: Brown Patch fungus in Centipede
Well it is fall here in South Ga, and my centipede did not survive the brown patch. I hired a local maintenance team to do soil analysts, etc, and apply several treatments over the past 6 months. As the brown patch killed, it left donut circles with no grass, in essence, little bowls that were cons...

Re: Sprayer Storage Options
I usually just hang them by the handles using the hooks that come in the multi pack(4 J hooks and 4 long L hooks). Since the sprayers are not heavy. I rarely ever use my backpack sprayer( Stihl SG20) and my 2 gallon Gilmour sprayer I use for EVERYTHING, I've had it for about 10 years now and have ne...

Re: Sprayer Storage Options
Holy cow!!! 5 sprayers???? I only have 2 but store them on my wall using Gladiator GarageWorks. I like them since you can start off small and just add to it as you need them. They can be found at Lowes and Amazon. I would post pictures but can't right now. I know it's been discussed here before, try...
