Sprinkler Boxes & Mice...

Post by jglongisland » August 31st, 2010, 7:51 pm

So I had a zone giving me trouble all season, one of the coils kept shorting out.

Today my sprinkler guy went through all the boxes and found a family of mice had camped out in one of the boxes and was chewing up the wires.

I'm going to have to remember to keep mothballs in all the junction boxes and replenish them every few months (I do it with my generator as a preventative step).
