8/15 is a guide, albeit a useful one.
Local microclimates will dictate the ideal time. Out here on the Island, those of us with meteorological backgrounds would have avoided this date given this weekend’s hurricane and night time temps over 70.

The majority on this forum over the years advise against aeration. Chaps, as we approach the crucial overseeding period, could you kindly recommend a pre emergent available in New York when sowing TTTF? I have a few precious drops of the old tenacity which would suffice at a pinch, I suppose. With much advanced thanks, LongIslander.
