Re: 2022: What Did You Do On Your Lawn Today?
Stared at my lawn and new KBG single (mono) cultivar seedlings in "pots" and one area that I reseeded (bewitched is doing incredible well near the concrete sidewalk and asphalt road compared to my "pots," even with far less water, perhaps due to the heat and late day sun. This year, I posted about w...

Re: Vent and ask for advice about a flip next-door
I think your attorney gave you good advice. You should be "made whole" so the elite kbg sod makes sense. Did he also say you should ask for legal fees to be paid? Side note: autocorrect wanted legal to be lethal. I almost kept it. No, he did not mention anything about legal fees to be paid, other t...

Re: Vent and ask for advice about a flip next-door
I have contacted an attorney and priced out the cost of elite KBG sod and topsoil at the attorney's request. I will send a certified letter to the builder and the township's office that is responsible for building permits. Thanks again all. While I thought this might be a legal battle, I also recogn...

Re: Vent and ask for advice about a flip next-door
I would contact the building dept of your township. In my township soil they will shut you down for not controlling erosion. I appreciate it. I have been in contact with them already. Long story short, the person in charge is very responsive. However, I have documented all of my attempts (12 total).

Vent and ask for advice about a flip next-door
I will try to be as brief as possible. Ihave had township contractors tear up my tree lawn three times (sinkhole, road resirfacing, sinkhole) and i tried the "dont seed, i will take care of it" approach (of course they reseeded). Fast forward, a neighbor about 1.5 blocks away of mine is flipping his...

Watching my automower, The GOAT today after the rain as i installed different wheels because my front slope is steap and has more lower spots that i thought (definally used Morph's scuba weights before and that ...

Watched my robomower tackle 35 degree (not percent) slopes like a charm. Laid down some mulch while monitoring how it handled.

Thanks for the input, Morpheus. I learned a lot about lawn care and robot mowers from you over the years.

Re: 2022: What Did You Do On Your Lawn Today?
Started a new chapter and am joining the robot mower club; installed 10% of the boundary wire so far due to time and weather today. While I love walk-behind mowers, my workload increased and I needed some help. Adopted an "acceptable, open box" Husqa 430XL on Amazon that arrived brand new in a sligh...

Blew leaves from beds. Added iron. Picked up sticks from neighbor's trees (all good). Realized how much i neglected my lawn over the years. Ready to go.

Re: Picking a Robotic Mower
Yes, definitely, the navimow is pricey. Just wanted to correct something that I wrote that was based on news articles. The Nanimow can handle a 45% slope (24ish degrees, NOT 40 degrees as I read in an article). There is a new kid on the block - the segway navimow. It uses gps vs wires for boundaries...

Re: Picking a Robotic Mower
There is a new kid on the block - the segway navimow. It uses gps vs wires for boundaries. Looks like it handles slopes up to 40 degree. However, max height for a cut is a mere 6 inches.

Re: 2020: What Did You Do On Your Lawn Today?
Spread some urea and it felt great. Been neglecting the lawn this year as work has been more intense. Don't get me wrong, my lawn has still been getting hit with milo. Just wanted to say, I've been trying to donate, but the donation link isn't working for me. Really have appreciated this site and th...

Re: Drain tile install soon - how to repair lawn
I'm probably one of the worst to give advice here, but what about getting a sod cutter to remove the grass before they dig? They're about $60-100 a day to rent near me.

Spot sprayed CCO+tenacity and enjoyed walking around my yard. I enjoyed feeling the carpet underneath my feet - many thanks Around The Yard! After 10 years of effort to improve my lawn, including a lot of misses before I found this site, I am amazed at the results due to the information and feedback...
