Make sure that you have pushed the filled sprayer before trying the hand spray gun. You may have air in the line if it's not sprayed out of the tip first.

If it's only the trigger gun, please contact EarthWay Customer Service 800-294-0671 for a replacement.

The tank is not under pressure so it shouldn't hiss. The pump creates the pressure. If the pump sprays and the unit works other than the spray gun, it might be a bad gun.

Hi David, Main difference is the S15 is smaller and really designed for home use, the S25 is larger and built for daily use - and it's easier to push. With regards to the S25 stopping the spraying - this is a function of the flat bottom and the waves inside the take as it allows the pump to suck air...

Lawndog, and all S15 users: we have improved/reinforced the gearbox to support bracket connection to eliminate any issues. From all of my tests it has solved the problem. If anyone has the new version and have had a problem, please let me know.

Ware, the new brace has an extra screw that secures the brace to the gearbox but it is partially hidden by the lower handle - closest to the axle. Ware - it sounds "fishy" - you really need the manual as it has the setting for calibration of the different tips and height. Shoot me your email address and I will email you a PDF manual with rate chart.
