Aggressive fall nitrogen program and dry weather
I did one treatment of .5 lb nitrogen per week this season. By now I would have done 3-4. I watered in but with all the dry weather we been having, should we continue weekly apps, as long as we water in or wait it out til we get more moisture?

Re: Feed store urea
I personally find the bigger easier to spread. Just a matter of opinion I guess. Plus side it would break down easier being so fine.

Feed store urea
Be careful when purchasing urea from feed stores. The one I went to only sells it in the consistency of sugar granules. I called to get the bigger pellets but they don't stock it and won't buy it in small quanties. I may have to travel a bit.

Re: 2017: What did you do on your lawn today?
Mulched leaves, sprayed BLSC and watered about an inch or so.
Boy lawns are dry and brown cause of lack of rain. No rain in site on 10 day weather forecast. It's bad here, my water bill gonna be a fortune

Gotcha.... the one I always buy for my FAS is very fine. Does anyone know where I can purchase a larger granular Fe sulfate?

Re: Billybob soil report back yard
This maybe a silly question but could Fe sulfate be apply with a spreader like a micro app or does it have to be applied by sprayer?

Going dormant?
All the lawns in the neighborhood are turning brown. Including mine.....I watered yesterday about 1" but looks like it would if you let it go dormant in July. We are having Indian summer, the next 3 days supposed to be in 90s. I stopped all nitrogen, except last week did 1/2 bag rate of milo to try ...
