Re: Fertilizer for the year!
I can get a pallet in my Silverado. Prior to departure from the plant, I break down the pallet and spread it out in the bed. Last year I did not make the trek from Maine for obvious reasons.

Re: Timing of late summer preemergent spray for Poa annua
I just sprayed the last of my Dimension. I would like to switch to granular but for 2 apps a year on 35k, I find it very expensive. Where are ya'll sourcing granular preem?

Re: Tenacity for everything?
I got a nasty outbreak of clover that laughed at my "diagnostic dose" of tenacity. I'm on my third app of
Trimec® Crabgrass Plus Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate which I got at Tractor Supply for 2.99 a quart. I bought them out.

Lime Green, grows faster in spring, nuke from space. I just did a 2nd app of Tenacity on the white grass, its everwhere. If your lawn borders field, woods, etc its a constant battle.

I've been spreading sawdust on my hard pan hills. I sourced it at the local dump during the Jan thaw. I got 5 Rubbermaid trash cans of it.

Re: 2019: What Did You Do On Your Lawn Today?
I was gone for 16 days, mowed/hayed on the 3rd and dropped 75 #s of urea before the rain yesterday. Ground temp is at 48 so only mowing left is mulching and getting it down to 3 inches, assuming tomorrow's snow melts. Still got 22 shrubs to trim & cover.

Re: POA Annua Eradication Plan for 2020
At my location it survives the summer, producing seed heads all summer. Interesting at my golf course the greens had a lot of winter kill due to freezing rain then snow cover so they slit seeded with poa. They filled in nicely but now have poa seed heads in the greens regardless of height because th...

Re: Current BayState Prices
I drive down from Maine (500 mile round trip) every year for a pallet. It was late June due to availability. Price has not changed. I saw some dude dissing Milo on You Tube due to phosphorous. I do 3 apps a year (37k) and the lawn loves it. I'm not concerned about it.
