Yeah those pictures in the back look about exactly how it does every year. I can see a bunch of new grass has germinated but the winter takes a toll back there.

Here's are update on the lawn. The front which is almost full sun and gets a little more tlc is looking great for early May, one now into the season. Soil temps are 55 in Mpls and I overseeded in the fall. Am I ok to apply a pre-emergent or should I hold off on that given continued germination of the kentucky blue?

Yep I see that as well. Anyplace else you'd recommend looking?

Because during the spring and summer there is a bunch of poa annua which I presumed would turn white and thin out allowing an overseed in its place. I'm just not seeing much yellowing or thinning, at least in the front.

I'm three weeks in to my Tenacity treatment and about a week to ten days out from overseed. I am not experiencing as much yellowing as I anticipated and the grass is pretty thick. Any ideas for how I should go about the overseed. Andy, I know you suggested not to split seed and I know the recommenda...

I see this stuff at fleet farm, looks nearly identical in nutrient analysis to Milorganite if not better. $6 per bag instead of $10 for Milorganite.

Anyone used it? Opinions?
