Re: Atrazine and Blindside apps on St. Augustine grass
I personally don't see a problem, however, you might want to be careful with the Blindside because it could cause some yellowing of your St. A.

Re: Best reel mower for large yard
I mow about 22k with a 27" True Cut. Sometimes I may not mow the front(~8k) and the back the same day. I mow about every 3 to 4 days though, not every other.

Using people urine as a weed killer
I've searched and saw a bunch of dog urine threads, but I'm wondering if anyone has collected their own pee, put it in a pump up sprayer and used it to kill weeds, like a roundup application. I know it's kind of a bizarre thought, but hey, it's free.

Re: Overseeding Centipede with Bermuda
Me thinks you would need to cover the seed up a bit with soil so that there's good soil/seed contact. I don't think you could just throw it out in the lawn and it germinate, but I very well could be wrong. Rye on the other hand would probably germinate on your driveway if you just threw it down.

Put down some fertilizer and let mother nature water it in for me.

Re: Help picking seed
For Bermuda to grow well, you will need 7+ hours of direct sunlight. From the pics, it doesn't appear that you have that much sun. Granted the pics were taken at both ends of the day(early morning and later in the evening), but I really don't think you can sustain a Bermuda lawn. I don't have any su...

Re: Help identifying my grass
I agree with Jeff. It is St. Augustine. However, you do not want to mow it too low. HOC(height of cut) should probably be 2" or higher.

Looks like Poa Annua to me too. It'll die out when the weather starts warming up.

Re: 2016 Southern Lawn Pics
Same weather here Jeff. The St. A in the neighborhood has gone pretty dormant, but this Bermuda just keeps on kicking. I'm sure I have the greenest lawn around my area. I haven't stopped mowing either.

Re: Cream cheese filled jalepenos wrapped with chicken breast and bacon
It looks mouth watering. Please share full recipe. I've never made these but I'll take a stab. Fill jalapeños with cream cheese. Wrap with chicken breast. Wrap with bacon. Cook until done. Sounds about right. I took the seeds and the membranes out of the jalapenos before filling them with the cream...

Re: Pizza
I use regular AP flour and make enough dough for 2 large pizza's, probably about 18" in diameter. I use about 5 cups of flour to 1-2/3 cups of water, regular yeast(comes in a brown jar at the grocery store), salt, sugar and a little olive oil. I use the dough hook exclusively on the kitchenaide. I d...
