Re: Hell Strip full of tree roots.....

Why not dig down near the property line cutting all the roots? You could lay a barricade that would stop the roots from growing back on to your side.

Does Nimblewill Die With Winter Weather?

Does the ever evil Nimblewill die with the cold weather, its seed growing the next season? Or does it go dormant like a grass?

The generic is 40 percent Mesotrione as per the label by only a 4 dollar difference in price. As stated above, why chance it?

Re: Scotts Moss Control (Fe) questions

How late into the fall early winter can moss in turf be knocked down? When does it go dormant for the winter, if it does?

Generic mesotrione?

Is the generic version of Tenacity (Mesotrione) exactly the same as the name brand?

I do not see much of a price difference which I find puzzling?

Re: Fenoxaprop Calculation Help

So to update, I hooked up the hose and sprayed into a bucket, then added that mix to my pump sprayer. Some observations: -Zero damage to the turf, even in the heat, including some creeping bent. -Fenoxaprop stinks! Not a pleasant odor at all. -Works so-so on crabgrass. Took around 3 applications to ...

Re: Help, don’t know what happened or how to fix

I wonder if the drains are working so well that water that may have permeated the soil previously is now drained away?

In the Rutgers class C trials, Midnight performed near the top. I was thinking of blending that with some Diva and Zinfendel.

I wasn't sure, but i thought Pylex might be generic Tenacity. I assume now it is not.

When reading about it, it seems both work the same way?

Topramezone vs Mesotrione

Topramezone vs Mesotrione,

How different are these two products? Topramezone doesn't put the hurt on bent like Mesotrione does?

Re: Fenoxaprop Calculation Help

So I tried the ready to spray bottle and I really don't like it, seem like too much pressure.

The Acclaim spot treatment rate is 0.3 to 0.46 oz per gallon.

Anybody care to give me a safe amount of concentrate to use for a gallon of water?

Re: I got a visit from the County Water Department

I'm sitting in my home office and a County Water Dept van pulls up. The guy gets out with a clipboard. He looks at the clipboard and then he looks at my lawn. Then back to the clipboard. Then he looks at my neighbor's lawns. Mind you we are in a historic drought here. My lawn is an emerald green. S...

Re: Fenoxaprop Calculation Help

So Bayer sells Fenoxaprop in a ready to spray bottle, the attach garden hose bottle treats 5000 sf. If I wanted to use my pump sprayer instead to insure better use, how much concentrate would I add per gallon of water? The concentrate is .41 percent fenoxaprop. Thanks! Wally, is the link below the ...
