Irrigreen Irrigation System
Does anyone have any experience with the Irrigreen irrigation system? It looks fairly new and I can't find a lot of reviews on it but I like the concept.

Re: ECUPirate 2020 Reno
Andy, do I continue the lime applications during dormancy or is there a specific time I should stop the applications and then pick back up during the spring?

I've been following the regimen on the backyard only since I was planning on doing a reno in the front yard.

Re: ECUPirate 2020 Reno
Andy, not sure if this question should be posted here in the reno or under my soil test but how long should I wait before putting lime down on this grass? Does it matter or can I go ahead and put some down?

Re: ECUPirate 2020 Reno
Day 14. Looks like it's almost time for a haircut! How long do you typically wait between seed down and putting a lawn mower on the grass? I have a 42" riding mower which I'm a little concerned about putting on the newly seeded lawn. I also have a Tru-Cut reel mower that I'm in the process of trying...

Re: ECUPirate 2020 Reno
I guess I should have clarified that I'm using an above ground system with only 1 impact sprinkler per zone. After 20 minutes the ground is wet but it isn't puddling. I'll cut back to 10 minutes twice per day and see how it does. Thanks for the insight.

Re: ECUPirate 2020 Reno
At what point should I start backing off on the water? I'm currently watering the lawn 4 times a day, 4 different zones, for 20 mins per zone. I'm assuming after the first cut but want to verify.

TruCut Repair
Does anyone know of anywhere that works on TruCut mowers in/around Raleigh, NC? I haven't ran mine in a few years so it's going to need some maintenance.

Re: ECUPirate 2020 Reno
Bermuda typically takes 14-21 days but I've read reviews where people were starting to see germination after 8 days with this La Prima seed. Calling for scattered thunderstorms all next week so I'm hoping we don't get any gully washers.

Re: ECUPirate 2020 Reno
Ended up with 11 piles of dead grass that I moved to the backyard for organic material. https://i.postimg.cc/TKW6ch0S/IMG-0185-1.jpg I got my seed down and sprinklers set up last night and had a decent rain storm that wasn't heavy enough to wash my seed away. :yahoo: Now the waiting begins. https://...

Re: ECUPirate 2020 Reno
Went ahead and rented a dethatcher and used it to get rid of all of the dead grass and it did a better job than I was expecting. I also got my above ground sprinklers set up and seeded tonight. I saw a YouTube video of a guy recommending to wait 7 days before placing starter fertilizer. He said he w...

https://i.postimg.cc/87YR3QjF/Front-Yard2.png Getting ready to prepare my seed bed and spread seed this week. In order to get rid of all of the dead grass and create a good seed bed, would you recommend a dethatcher/lawn comber or a slit seeder? I also never realized how many weeds I had in my fron...
