Zeon for curb appeal. Solid establishment will take longer with a part sun install. Do not aggressively cut, scalp this year.

Re: 2017 Southern Lawn Pics
I have no idea. I moved into the house in November last year. It is relatively new construction. Just 3 years old. It is definitely sod, but I don't know what cultivar. Is there anyway to find out? I think it's a zoysia....don't see any brown below the top canopy. You have neighbors that know what ...

Re: Built a house-Developing a yard plan
Wow, BOOM! Regular fert n squirt, keep it from drought stress, mowing regularly. Consider plugging from your sod part of lawn into areas you want to see it (I guess the area you are suggesting seed). Search in equipment, "pro-plugger" or some variation. It's the greatest to fill out a lawn over time...

Re: Bermuda growth issues around driveway
It may be drying out faster as I'd bet there are no shortage of rock/gravel near the driveway. Most builds include an oversupply of rock as a temp driveway, and concrete work uses them. ...don't expect cleanup. I'd treasure hunt, Take a shovel out there...it'll heal quick In my experience, when part...

Re: Built a house-Developing a yard plan
Trying to establish Bermuda from seed usually is waste of money, time especially w/o irrigation and knowledge/experience...depot prints money from those assuming it's as 'easy' as a cool season grass (rye, fescue). Second, if you have hybrid (sodded), I would use cultural practices to encourage the ...

Re: Depressed and Ready to give up. Please help.
Understood ...been there at times for sure. Which zoysia? I'd expect some weeds...you have to be smart about pre-em with newly sodded. You can find a few studies on the impact to root dev, online. I have a fert/squirt co and had poa the first spring because they didn't want to treat it with some ......

Re: Timeline Needed
I wonder what is different about it vs emerald or zeon...looks very close. It's a matrella....obviously. I have the same set up, zoysia in back (east) ...but tall trees in GA. My experience (you see what I have), it will grow in shade surprisingly well, but shade can complicate. Sun cures missteps ....
