Re: Jacob Lundeen's 2021 Report (Logan Labs)
Well damn, if we were planning on staying here long-term, I'd consider it. But we don't expect this to be our forever home, so I may just stick with the Centipede. Thank you sir!

Re: Jacob Lundeen's 2021 Report (Logan Labs)
Since I'm just starting on caring for the yard, I won't mess with trying to switch to Bermuda this year. I'm not so much worried about the time (I love doing yard work), but could you provide an approximate cost I'd be looking at?

Re: Jacob Lundeen's 2021 Report (Logan Labs)
I had Bermuda at my previous house and I very much liked it. What would be the best process for me to switch my grass over to Bermuda?

Building new home, comes with centipede
So we are building a new home, and the builder automatically puts down Centipede sod (not negotiable). The only grass I've ever had is Bermuda, and I want to continue to use that. Any suggestions on how best to switch my yard over to Bermuda?

I forgot to ask, but is the lime application every 60 days like I was doing last year?

Re: Jacob Lundeen's 2017 Soil Test
Thank you andy!
For fertilizer, should I just go with a 20-20-20, or just stick with the Urea 46-0-0 that I was using last year?

Jacob Lundeen's 2017 Soil Test
I followed the 2016 report very thoroughly, although I trailed off some at the end due to work travel. I want to continue with the level of detail that I was, which includes the micros. My front yard was the best yard in the neighborhood last year, I want to continue with that and get my back yard u...

Re: Georgia / South Carolina - Time to start?
I got started around the beginning of Feb because I could see the writing on the wall that winter was ending early and things were happening already. Spring has already started as far as we're concerned down here, everything is blooming and expecting temps in the 80s next week. Yeah, I should have ...

Re: Georgia / South Carolina - Time to start?
So I live right on the border of Augusta, GA, and during the day it is pretty consistently around mid-70s. My peach tree is already blooming, and my yard is being overtaken by weeds. I see a little growth from the Bermuda, so I'm wondering if I should go ahead and start-up my regiment? If trees are...

Re: Georgia / South Carolina - Time to start?
Right now it is really hard for me to see much green because my yard is being taken over by weeds from my neighbors yards. But I think I am going to scalp it this weekend, take my soil samples and broadcast spray Celsius to kill the weeds. Crazy that I have to do it this early.

Re: Clover problem in my front yard
So I've been following the Bermuda bible and been putting down fertilizer/milorganite/lime/weed killer as prescribed . My front yard is pretty much weed free except for clover. I'm finding it all over my front yard. Is there something special I need to do for clover? I already did a broadcast spray...

Re: 2016: What did you do on your lawn today?
Mowed the front yard and put down milorganite with Boron and Copper Sulfate mixed in yesterday, will do the same thing to the back yard today. The majority of the weeds in the front yard are gone, but I am still getting weeds here and there (I think I measured wrong when I put down pre-emergent earl...

Re: 2016 Soil Test - Jacob Lundeen - Front and Back Yard
What about the micros? Since you don't mix the micros with Lime, do I need to wait two weeks to put them down with the milorganite?
