Have you tried mowing up/down the hill at 45 degrees? You could possibly anchor a point at the top of the hill and tie rope around the mower mowing in a semicircle pattern. Alfalfa pellets are just an organic source of food made from alfalfa plants which is used to feed rabbits, horses, etc however it can be used as an organic fertiliser on your lawn. The brand doesn't matter.

I don't watch too many regular season games but I usually watch everything starting at the conference finals. The games are usually around late morning/ early afternoon but I record them and watch them later.

I'll had good results with this stuff. You can get it from Bunnings for about $14. Oxalis shrivels up a few hours after applying and is completely gone in a few days.
