Re: Success stories overseeding KBG into TTTF/PR?
[quote=moejoe post_id=347416 time=1621810753 user_id=847] Tenacity will not kill triv - believe me, I have wasted 5 years and even used Morph's method with distilled water. The only thing that has taken the edge out of it is a very low nitrogen program and little to no irrigation in the summer - Yes...

Re: Success stories overseeding KBG into TTTF/PR?
[quote=Green post_id=347388 time=1621659242 user_id=2313] Why not kill off the Triv patches, and then do a reseed and/or transfer plugs. Spring is the best time to kill Triv. You can seed with any mix you like in those areas. It may not match, but it's one potential way to get some KBG into the lawn...

Re: Success stories overseeding KBG into TTTF/PR?
[quote=Green post_id=347377 time=1621648021 user_id=2313] It's actually pretty simple: if the lawn is very thin, it might work. If it's very patchy, it almost certainly will work. If you have a thick lawn already, it probably will not work, but you really don't need to be overseeding anyway if that'...

Success stories overseeding KBG into TTTF/PR?
So I know there are plenty of times KBG didn’t take in an overseed with TTTF/PR. Any one have success and what did you do.
I overseeded last year with hogans 80/20 Mix but thinking of doing full KBG this year and seed in August to give it a chance to germinate well before winter.

[quote=Masbustelo post_id=346299 time=1618091150 user_id=9188] I would say to chill a while. It looks like at best you have some warm season grass that goes dormant. If that is what it is it will green up soon. On the other hand take a little time to study Nimblewill. Once you figure out your situat...

Overseed didn’t take?
This past fall I overseeded my lawn and some bare spots with hogan seed blend. It looked great before winter. Now all the spots look dead after the winter. I noticed some grass sprouting but most looks dead. Did I not give the grass enough time before winter? I overseeded at the beginning of Sept? I...

Pre-M Dimension question
So I am having a hard time finding Dimension 0-0-7. The only place that has it is an 1.5 hour drive from my house and buying it online is crazy expensive. I don't like using the 19-0-7 version but that is in stock at all my local places, I don't want the N down this earlier. I have access to Prodiam...

Fertilize after snow?
So we got some unexpected snow in NH yesterday and I was planning on putting down one more nitrogen treatment. Is it worth my time to do it now? Going to be in the 60s next week. Was also hoping to get in one more lime treatment in after the fertilizer if possible.

Re: Opinion on next Reno step
I have mine being watered 4 times a day for 5 mins and some sections an additional two times because they get more sun. I have also noticed some green moss and some white fungus on some of the bare spots so I have cut back a little on the water

Re: Opinion on next Reno step
Yeah I still see seeds in those spots so I am hoping it is the KBG waiting to sprout as I hasn’t been three weeks yet. I have some seed left over I might toss it down and then toss some compost on it to help the germination as I didn’t use any on the first overseed.

Opinion on next Reno step
So I put down some Hogan’s blend 80/20 TTTF/KBG over two weeks ago. The TTTF has come in good but I have some spots that didn’t take well. I am going to give it another week as it will three weeks for KBG seed after this week so I am hoping to get some more germination once the three week point hits...

[quote=northeastlawn post_id=341913 time=1595193742 user_id=5185] If your over-seeding or doing a reno, now is the time to plan your watering. You need to water it 3-4 times a day, so you should either have irrigation, or plan on some type of battery powered hose end timer. So if your truly watering...
