Re: Toro recycler vs Toro super recycler?

Thank you. I still haven't decided on which model to get. I'm waiting for sales and might pickup one of the battery models. 40V or 80V models. Just need to decide on which one to get. So far contenders are:
Greenworks 40v
Greenworks 80v
Ego 56v

Andy - I found 3 agways 15 miles away. Will call them tomorrow. What store is the one you use? I can take a ride out there get a 50 pound bag and that will last me for 3-4 years.

Re: lawnal's soil test 2017

Do not bother trying to find it in big-box stores. If you're lucky, a garden center may have it. Farm and golf suppliers also have it. How far north are you in NJ? If you jump the border into NY, I know a place that has it for sure. I know, cos that's where I get mine... ' I'm by Fort Lee in Cliffs...

Re: lawnal's soil test 2017

Thank you Andy. This was a new construction back in 2012 when I bought it. Not sure where or how the soil came in. I did do total renovation last year. New sprinklers, new sod. My landscaper brought in 7 cubic yards of topsoil and spread it out everywhere. It came about between 1 and 2 inches in tot...

Toro recycler vs Toro super recycler?

Hello So i'm looking to replace my 24v worx 16" lawnmower and came across Toro recycler line. I'm stuck on trying to decide if super recycler is worth the extra cost vs non super model. I have a small yard under 1k sqf. What I'm mainly looking for is good mulching and vacuum suction as my grass refu...

Re: Grass not standing up

My hunch is that the real problem here is the shady area. Most grasses in such areas tend to get floppy, not because you are cutting too long, but because the grass blades adapt to the shade by elongating. While this provides more leaf surface for photosynthesis, it also makes the plants floppier. ...
