DMT, I live in Dallas and have a St Augustine lawn. I would recommend you use grains and / or milorganite for feedings. You are feeding the herd which will cycle its way to nitrogen to your turf. I usually feed every 3 to 4 weeks, but you probably use less.

You can use St Augustine in the shady areas. Bermuda is not shade tolerate.

Don't mix sprayers and rotators in the same zone. You can use almost any nozzle with your sprinklers. Are you needing new nozzles? How does your grass look? I would check for coverage in each zone and how long it takes you to get an inch via the the tuna can test.

Have you tried screwing the adjustment screw down?
