Sharing my thoughts about TTTF
My SS1000 in frontyard is about 8 months old now. Mmm, It's ok. My lawn was the first one to green in spring and it was beautiful. However, I honestly still like my KBG. In fact if you recall my KBG backyard last year, it got killed by grubs. About 20% recovered. Around April, I decided that this co...

Re: GRRR! Neighbor conduct or maybe I'm wrong about that
WOW! Thank you so much for the tip! I think it's similar to the one I was doing at my old house using blackstrap molasses. I did it long time ago but I wasn't sure what it was for and wasn't sure what it will do to our lawns

GRRR! Neighbor conduct or maybe I'm wrong about that
I saw 2 neighbors(different dates) walking with their dogs last week and it peed on my 5 month old lawn. I've started noticing it turned yellow on the 3rd day. Today, I think it's dead! Crap! Sigh! 🤬How can we prevent this? Everytime I see it, it makes me mad especially I can see it from my office r...

Re: Front Lawn Renovation 2020 Update and First Mow
Will do. I remember you told me a bag product few years ago used for catching Japanese Beetles. I'll google it later. Check before using the curative! Seriously, that stuff will do a number on your "good" insect population and microherd. If you don't have a grub problem, don't use it. yeah, I saw an...

Re: Front Lawn Renovation 2020 Update and First Mow
Thank you! Yep, on my other thread I'll buy GrubEx sometime this week or the Bayer. The one made by Spectracide doesn't work according to the link I gave you yesterday. And yes, I'll be using it now religiously, both preventative and curative

Re: Front Lawn Renovation 2020 Update and First Mow
Looking good, glad you got your lawn back! Thank you. :) Last year around early November, my neighbor 5 houses down congratulated me. She walks daily with her dog. She told me she was also excited and was waiting for the results. She saw most of the things I did. She asked for some tips too because...

Front Lawn Renovation 2020 Update and First Mow
Last year, many lawns in our neighborhood got killed by grubs. Mine was one of them. I waited and waited hoping for it to turn green in September and thinking kbg lawn just went dormant. I was really confused as to why other lawns in the neighborhood were already green in late August. I still waited...

Re: Article for spring care of northern lawns
Gotcha. I'll make sure to apply preventative grub product this year. I think GrubEx was listed from the article. I'm not sure if you recall my lawn last year being killed by grubs but September I decided to renovate the front yard. TTTF came out really well and my lawn was the first one to green up ...

That will work. 😉 But really, there's no good guide out there as of yet. I should write that, or somebody should...

Can someone please help me?
Thank you!

Is this broadleef plaintain weed?
I'm guessing it's a broadleef plantain weed but the missing lines on the leaf is making my guess wrong. However, maybe because it's still young? Also, which weed killer should I buy for this? Anything with 2,4-D ingredient? https://i.postimg.cc/c6FFbbMT/20210326-173436.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/hfwpS...

Re: I think ground will warm up in 15-20 days
Great advice/heads-up! And yes, I might renovate my backyard lawn if KBG doesn't show up. It still looked like a field of hay when it entered winter last year. Right now, the new TTTF reno in front of the house that I did last year is looking good though there are small brown patches. Not sure if th...

Cool! No rush. I don't remember seeing Dimension at those stores. I'll check again. Maybe at the place where I went last year, I'll check their site. I'll have to check my previous post to find it

I think ground will warm up in 15-20 days
Last year, I renovated my front lawn to TTTF which I bought from Super Seed Store. It looked really well. Snow melted last week and was very shocked to see tons of web on the lawn. I found out it is snow mold. I think the snow mold is gone since it warmed up for 4-5 days but today, everything is whi...
