Re: Did the last huge 1-2" rain fall in Norther east wash away my Pre-M?
So I put down Pre-M on April 10th, there was one day of rain maybe .25" if that, then dry until yesterday's huge downpour of 1-2" of rain. I have sandy soil, worried if it was washed away... I put mine down on the 15th right before that big rain fall. Im in the Bergen county area of NJ just liike y...

Re: Should I apply Lesco 19-0-7 Pre M now or wait until the beginning of May
Thanks Green, Renovated last August/September, I applied Tenacity at 4oz rate with seed down then another 4oz about 6 weeks later. I also spoon fed Urea twice and then the winterizer in early December. I guess ill use the 4oz rate of tenacity in about another 10 days or so . That will mean that I wi...

Should I apply Lesco 19-0-7 Pre M now or wait until the beginning of May
Im actually happy that the ground is still cold. Im trying to hold off as long as possible to put down my Pre M. Unfortunately for me before I found this site last yr late spring after I purchased Lesco 19-0-7 pre M , Ive learned since then that pre M without the Nitrogen is the much better and pref...

Re: 2017: What did you do on your lawn today?
Dropped my winterizer app of Urea down this morning over a little bit of remaining slush during a light drizzle. A few of my neighbors that were taking their morning walk must have thought I am crazy .

Can I winterize over snow ?
I was just wondering If I can drop my winterizer (46-0-0 urea) . where I live we received about 3-4" of snow yesterday. I never got to put the winterizer down because up until last week my lawn was still growing about 1/8 inch per week. The forecast for the next few days looks like temps in the low ...

Re: Feed store urea
I’m still trying to understand why this is a problem... I’ve used the finer-grade agricultural stuff for years without any problem. You just need to adjust your spreader to deal with it. So what’s the problem? thanks for the good news turf toes , I plan on using a very low setting and make adjustme...

Re: Feed store urea
Be careful when purchasing urea from feed stores. The one I went to only sells it in the consistency of sugar granules. I called to get the bigger pellets but they don't stock it and won't buy it in small quanties. I may have to travel a bit. is There a problem with it if it comes in the consistenc...
