Thank you. Yes soil can freeze for short periods from time to time.

Re: bcpa1445's Soil Test Results 2019
I’m up for the micros!
Thank you for the recommendations.
Is the every 90 days for the lime year round or only during growing season? Also, last time around you had recommended Epsom salts with the lime, is that still needed?
What is a good OM number?
Thank you,
Bill

bcpa1445's Soil Test Results 2019
I have 27k sq.ft. of common bermuda/yukon bermuda in Nashville, TN area. Use a rotary mower trimmed to about 1.75in weekly. No irrigation but can lay out hose/sprinkler/timers to cover whatever is necessary. Really only irrigate if I have applied something or if we haven't had rain in a long period ...

Re: bcpa1445's Soil Test Results 2018
Andy,
Is it safe to apply this all at one time and water in? Or should I break it up a few days apart?
Thanks

Bermuda lawn taken over by goosegrass
My common bermuda lawn is in need of a serious overhaul. I moved in last summer and the lawn looked pretty decent. https://s22.postimg.cc/c8l0rzs19/IMG_7590.jpg It had bare spots in places and was thinner than I wanted it to be. So I started down the dark path of obsessive lawn care learning. I got ...

@andy10917 I have a few questions, just for my learning purposes, not to question your expertise. Why do you recommend Calcitic lime with Epsom salts vs dolomitic lime alone (which contains magnesium already)? I'm assuming the calcium content? Is it the speed at which the effect takes place? Solubil...

Re: bcpa1445's Soil Test Results 2018
Thanks for the reply! I’m up for working on the micros. With the medium loam, what do you recommend to help with soil compaction and/or also raising om levels? Top inch or so of soil dries very fast. Should I core aerate and spread peat moss or something? I’ll work on the rest of the recommendations...

bcpa1445's Soil Test Results 2018
Hey guys, Thank you for your time and consideration. A resource like this forum is an amazing aid to so many of us. I have posted my results below. It is an average from roughly 12 different spots around my front and back yard. 4 slices of soil down to about 5" deep with a small shovel, the rest a 4...
