Re: Weed ID
It sucks, but thanks for confirming that it is Bermuda. Guess I need to decide now what my plan will be if any. Luckily 5000sqft makes it a little cheaper.

Weed ID
Below are a couple images of a weed that I am trying to identify in a couple patches of my yard. I believe that it is something of the warm season variety, and my fear is that it may be Bermuda. The areas that it is located get mostly full sun, and it is definitely spreading. I don't believe that it...

Re: NCturf Soil Test Result 2019
Thanks Andy! I figured the lawn was going to be pretty deficient since it is so young, but guess the soil test definitely confirms it is deficient and then some. Ill plan on doing applications in the spring and fall of either peat moss or compost to try to help the OM, and will continue mulch mowing...

Yesterday I mowed and applied some 10-10-10. Feels good to get out in the yard again.

NCturf Soil Test Result 2019
Below is my soil test for my entire yard which is about 5,000 sqft. House is a little over two years old, new construction, so not a lot of lawn history or time to build up the soil profile. No new soil was brought in when the lot was graded, and the entire yard is Tall Fescue. I have been only mulc...

Took soil samples over the weekend, and then mailed off to Logan Labs. Curious to see what the results show, but it definitely looks like carolina clay....

Re: Irrigation system quotes - reasonable?
I got mine done last fall, 10 zones, 60(ish) heads, paid $7k. I have a lot of wide open spaces, especially back yard. Hey NCLawnguy, I am in the Charlotte/ University area. Looking to get irrigation installed and wanted to see if you would share the company/experience you had with your current hous...
