Re: Building the (Semi)permenant Home Office
I second alot of what has been said. My office set up includes a ceiling light, bendable desk light, and a table lamp in one corner. I use whatever combination I need depending on time of day or night. I also have a large window. I have a column fan that is used some of the time. A comfortable tilti...

Re: It's March!! Time to Wake Up (and Happy Birthday ATY)
Despite 14 inches of snowfall a couple weeks or so ago almost all the snow in my yard is gone. We don't start mowing until April though - very rarely we start in March. I did a partial survey and found a few areas where the snow pack smashed the grass flat. Looks like I will have some raking when it...

Re: Snow mold
Have had the Grey mold before and I just raked it to break it up. No damage. Have not had it for a few years. Did not have sustained snow coverage this year. Grass is fairly green already and having a big warm up the past week.

Re: Looking Forward to 2021 Season
Wasn't able to water much last year and the heat really did a number on my lawn...especially the front which faces south. When rain returned in the fall along with a couple feedings there was improvement and recovery but still have work to see if I can get it back 100%. I may be looking at a couple ...

Re: Windows 7
Yes I tried 10. It bogged my old laptop down too much. I guess I should get a new one. Just don't want that purchase right now. Trying to watch the budget.

Am I at high risk if I keep running windows 7? I would rather not buy a new computer and mine ran very poorly when I tried windows 10 on it. Appreciate your time!

Ideal eq lawn fertilizer
Has anyone heard of Ideal EQ lawn fertilizer? The place where I normally buy Milorganite has this now. looked it up online. At the moment they do not have Milorganite in stock however so far this appears to covers 2500 square feet and is 36 pound bag. I will have to drive to the store to examine the...

Re: What’s your average first mow?
Here in northwest Ohio I always mow by April. About 25% of the time I start in March. Forsythia blooms in April. Lot of rain here and definitely warmed up. Looking like a possibility of an early spring.

Re: 1/2 Circle on Lawn
Persistent but slowly improving I think. May not be completely gone until next year. I had a two sq ft spot a couple of yrs ago where I pulled out a dead arborvitae.
By the of the yr it had closed to about 2 inches.

Re: 2016: What did you do to or on your lawn today?
Pruned 17 rose bushes. Planted 2 Love & Peace after seeing them in a thread from awhile back with JG and Bernstem - thought they looked great. I'm zone 6 and I think they are only zone 7 recommended and up but figured I'd see how they do anyway for the summer.
Total of 20 rose bushes now.

Very cool. Have a duck nesting behind a rose bush right now.
