Re: Herbicide Burn on my Bermuda
Too bad I really didn’t even have any weeds! :) So you think the Bermuda will still survive? I have now set my sprinkler system up to water for 25 mins four times a day to see if I can flush it out. Any risk over overwatering and further damaging the grass? How long do you think I should do this? Al...

Herbicide Burn on my Bermuda
I think I’m in trouble because I carelessly used my Lesco Three-Way selective herbicide when I thought I was using liquid iron... I applied it at about 20 pints per acre... it’s been about 4 days and when I saw the grass beginning to yellow I realized what I had done. 1) How bad Is the situation her...

Re: Jobryant's Soil Test (July 2018)
Let's add Nitrogen and Phosphorus - both are clearly needed. Get a good Starter Fertilizer and apply it at bag rate, monthly while the grass is growing. If you don't understand bag rate, then purchase the Starter Fertilizer and post the NPK numbers. Hey Andy, could I ask you a clarifying question t...

Re: Jobryant's Soil Test (July 2018)
Thanks, zachhorn. I also use a rotary mower and like you said, I can only get to about 1.5". I've been thinking about getting a reel mower but I'm afraid I'd need to start mowing more than once per week. Wish I could but my life gets a little too busy (hence the delay in my reply :D ) Glad to hear y...

Re: Grass appearing to die, help with ways to revive yard?
Good to see more people from Phoenix on the forum! I'm in Phoenix too and I came to the forum because everyone on other sites kept referring to the 'Bermuda Bible': https://aroundtheyard.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=71:bestlawn-bermuda-guide&catid=9&Itemid=117 I'm using this as m...

Re: A "Worm Apocalypse"? Really?
'Soils are becoming deserts' hit home for me because I'm in Phoenix. My OM was about 1.5% and I'm pretty sure I've never seen a worm in my yard. Maybe a couple after a good rain. I'm excited to start applying some peat moss to see how it improves things.

Re: Jobryant's Soil Test (July 2018)
Thanks, Andy. I can't wait to post pics next year! I will use peat moss and add Nitrogen and Phosphorus. I will try some Bottled Iron Product without chelates, due to my high pH. Addressing the micros next year is fine with me too. A couple of follow-up questions: 1. I got my grass checked and it is...

Re: Jobryant's Soil Test (July 2018)
Thanks, Andy. That's funny, glad I can keep things interesting!
I'll have them do the Ammonium Acetate test. They have a 7.0 and an 8.2 test. Which would you like?

Jobryant's Soil Test (July 2018)
Also new to the forum, thanks for your help! Sorry for my double-post... Still figuring out how to post this :D Here is my soil test from Logan Labs. I followed all your instructions but if I missed anything please let me know. I'm looking for your 'best approach'. I'd like a lush, full, green lawn....
