Why does my lawn tear up like carpet?
This will be my 2nd summer. I noticed this happened last year on the north side of the house on a small strip that is mostly shaded. I went to rake up some residual leaves (nothing major) and pick up branches, and pretty much that whole side is dead...and rakes up like carpet. Is this common before ...

What worked for me starting out was to focus the first year on good mowing practices (1-2 x week, with a sharp mulching blade), proper watering (1/2 inch every 3 days) and weed control wit...

Tips on how to water my 3,000 sq ft home
I want to properly water my lawn. Last year, I made the mistake of walking around my whole house with a hose. It was tiresome, tedious, and obviously inadequate. I am looking to get something that oscillates. My local gardening store has this: https://www.gertens.com/green-thumb-medium-duty-turbo-os...
