Doesn't say anything about dilution rate. Bottle is 32 ounces and covers 500 sq.ft.Mightyquinn wrote:What's the dilution rate on the bottle? how many ounces does the bottle hold and how many square feet does it cover?

Re: Adeles Soil test 2015
These products are meant for crops and large-scale greenhouses. 10L of this will last forever for a lawn, and I have no idea whether the standard products I use/recommend are available in Canada. I recommend and calculate for Borax, Copper Sulfate, Zinc Sulfate and Manganese Sulfate granules and po...

Re: Adeles Soil test 2015
All of the measured micronutrients are needed. Apply three times at the rate specified on the bottle, now, around August 1st, and in September. I can't calculate the exact amount that will apply, but it's low enough that it won't cause harm. Thanks Andy, is this a good option as well at half the pr...

Re: Adeles Soil test 2015
Hi Andy, Sorry to ask again but I would like to work on the micronutrients. I have these available locally at a good price. Let me know what you think $45/10L (Use 150 ML / 1000 sq feet) http://eco-plus.ca/en/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=260:liquide-agro&catid=37:liquid-products&Item...

Moss out hose end sprayer
I have an empty bottle of this hose end sprayer. Is it a good idea to use this as a liquid iron applicator?
Perhaps adding 10 tablespoons of iron filled up with water?

Re: Granular Iron 50%
Barley hit the nail on the head -- it's right on the linked page -- "derived from Iron Oxysulfate". is this a bad thing? The key is context. Iron oxysulfate is produced by partially reacting iron oxide with sulfuric acid to yield iron oxide and iron sufate, although you still end up with mostly iro...

Did it not come with application instructions? Post the label. My bet is that this is iron oxysulfate. Granular Iron 50%
Hi,
I was able to source a 25kg bag of Granular Iron 50%.
How much of this can be safely applied? Is this something that can be applied monthly?
I was thinking of mixing it in with organic fertilizer (3-2-3)

Re: Adeles Soil test 2015
OK, the soil is at the sandy edge of a Loam. The OM numbers are OK but not spectacular - keep applying free organic matter regularly. Overall, it's not bad. The P and K are both low, and that means a balanced fertilizer is the solution. Find one and post the NPK for app rates. The pH is in the swee...

I was able to get 0-48-0. Let me know the amounts. Thanksandy10917 wrote:I guess - I hate liquid fertilizers, they're wasteful and leach easily.
Apply the SOP at 2 lbs/K and the 7-12-3 at the rate on the bottle. Get the NPK of the balanced stuff figured out soon though.

Re: Mario's soil test 2015
Thanks Andy, I have twenty mule team handy. I will pass on Zinc for now.
I still have about 20lbs of 0-0-50 and a bottle of Scotts liquid starter fertilizer (7-12-3) from last year. Can we use this for now and purchase a balanced fertilizer afterwards?
