Tenacity Expiration Date
Hi, I have a bottle of tenacity with an expiration date of 2016. I did a blanket spray in my front yard last week to help identify the POA. Do you think it's still good or any weaker? We had a warmer winter here on Cape Cod and I don't think the POA really died...? I did a really good job dropping d...

Watering in Urea & Time of Day
Hi, Looking for some advice. I have a small rust fungus problem in the front of my house in one area. I have been doing my urea apps in the mid afternoon at around 1pm and watering in after that. Do you think I could get away with dropping urea in the afternoon and then watering in at 6am the next d...

Lawn Mower Hight For Fall
Hi all! Looking for some advise for the hight of my lawn mower. I have a torro timemaster and KBG mix. In the summer I have it set to the highest hight (# 7 at 4") and have dropped it to setting # 5 at 3 inches. I am using the fall nitro urea apps so it's growing fast. Should I have it cut shorter? ...

Re: SeanCapeCod's 2019 Soil Test
Structurally, that's a surprisingly good soil for the Cape - a TEC of almost 10 points to a medium Loam, and the OM% at 6.66% is great. In the cations, Calcium is low and Magnesium is just a hair low. Potassium is very, very low though and only makes up 0.87% of the Base Saturations - that really s...

Re: POA Annua Eradication Plan for 2020
Thanks everyone for your responses! I will drop Pre-M now and use tenacity as well. It is true like some of you that my Poa did not die as well. I have some good trees and cape cod didn't get too hot this year. Thanks again everyone! This place is great!

POA Annua Eradication Plan for 2020
Hi everyone, My name is Sean I'm new to the forum and I really like this site! I live on Cape Cod Massachusetts, south east of Boston and it does get cooler here sooner than Boston. I have about 10%-ish POA annua in my KBG lawn. Last year I put down Dimensions around Labor day and then again around ...

Re: SeanCapeCod's 2019 Soil Test
Profile updated. In terms of experience, I do 4 applications of fertilizer a year, use dimensions for POA (moderately successful/timing off) and have used tenacity before and not hurt my lawn. I have been reading up on around the yard forum for a while now. Hope this information helps! Thanks, -Sean

SeanCapeCod's 2019 Soil Test
Hi, I'm new to the forum. I am a big fan of this site and have been reading as much as I can. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! I live near the ocean and have sandy loam soil with pine trees. Some of the grass has been getting yellow tips on it and wonder if its from my low PH? I als...
