Here is the orginal Whole milk thread. It's a good informative read.

Re: Summer Patch Survival Thread...

JG, How do you apply Heritage? Spray bottle or hose-end sprayer? Would it matter if lawn is irrigated afterward? And I imagine the amount of irrigation would be different for preventive and curative applications. Would you irrigate more for preventive application in the Spring when you want the fun...

Bump. For those new to summer patch, :sorry:
It's best to go back to page one and read from the beginning. There is a good chance your question has been answered. Good luck.

Thank you.

I think I'll put up the shovel and spreader and go back to lurking. Seems every time I try to do something I end up screwing it up
No, you're learning. The worst thing is to get frustrated and give up. We've all made mistakes. You just learn from them.

Robomow RS 630

I'm starting to seriously look at robot mowers. I've checked out several brands. But their hoc is too low. The Robomower has a hoc of 3.14". Which is 1" higher than the others I've looked at. If you own a Robomower I would love your input. (Morph) Expecting to purchase late summer to early fall.

I wouldn't rototill that soil in GA if you paid me. Subsoil and topsoil mix all too easily, and the mixed material sucks.
Amen to that.

Where in N. Georgia are you? I'm between Buford and Suwanee.

Re: Anyone with $3,500 Chump Change???

I'm considering one of the Husqvarna robo mowers. I looked at one a month ago. My riding mower was purchased in 1998, the "garage sale find" reel mower is from the 1970's. I priced a John Deere riding mower from the dealer @ $2800. If I can find one in that price range. It could be a deal maker. I j...

Re: The #1 mistake....

This is how I snuck my reno in. The wife was very insistent I just kill the weeds and over-seed with the kbg into a fescue lawn. Tired of arguing, I said ok (with fingers crossed behind my back). Two weeks later she asked why the entire front lawn looked dead. I tried to explain the lawn was all wee...

Re: Winterize - Again?

You should be fine. Getting a little growth after winterizer is normal.
I never really read what the repercussions were of a premature application.....
If you went too early while the grass was still growing. You would be out there mowing every other day going..."holy s***, what did I do? :rotfl:

Re: 2017: What did you do on your lawn today?

Lawndog. I've got the same type of neighbor. His frontyard is tree lined. He just blows his leaves into piles under the tress. Then all winter long they blow into my yard. I've told his to just blow them across the property line and I would take care of them. Just won't do it. :-(

No. If the lawn is dormant, then you're not applying enough water for urea dilution and growth - the two parameters I identified.

Re: Tenacity application timing for reno

As it's getting close to my seed down date for my reno, I have been thinking about the best way to get my tenacity app down. My main question is can I put the tenacity app down the evening before my seed down day? I'm planning to give the lawn a heavy watering the night before and I see that tenaci...

I have picked up pots from a salvage store. They're pretty cheap. The salvage store I use buys unsold/unwanted stock from other stores. They are cheaper than even a Dollar store.
