What Japanese beetle traps do you guys use?
My Lowes has the Spectracide ones: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Spectracide-Ba ... ap/3120407
I see Tanglefoot and Safer Brand are popular on Amazon.
Thanks.

Re: Anyone Seeing Tons of "Smartweed" This Year?
I have pulled more smartweed this year than any other year. As you said, not in the yard, but very invasive in my flowerbeds and garden. I agree that the cool wet spring allowed it to thrive.

Sickly Shumard Oak Tree
I have a 20 year old shumard oak tree that was healthy last fall. It has not leafed out well this spring. Currently, its leaves are small, 1/4 the size they should be. Some limbs also died back. In the one below comparison pic, the leaf is my northern red oak. Any suggestions as to what I can do to ...

Re: deboy922's Soil Test Results 2019
I would definitely describe my soil as "tight/difficult-to-work/hard".
I will see what fertilizers are available and at what cost; research about gypsum; and read about micronutrients in the FAQ's for Boron.

deboy922's Soil Test Results 2019
Hello and thank you in advance for your efforts. My 2-acre lot is 23-years-old and located in a rural area outside of Lafayette, Indiana. Originally, it was part of an 80 acre farm field, growing corn and soybeans. A mix of cool season grasses were planted, and it has only been mowed - no fertilizat...

Re: Leaves falling from healthy trees
My crabapples are dropping some leaves, as well as my apple and cherry trees. My shumard oak has very little leaves and does not look good. Very weird spring... hoping they bounce back.
