Apparently I didn't fallow enough.
Anyway I've got some serious clover starting. Is CCO too harsh for a month old bewitched monostand? Is tenacity my only hope?

Re: ReD-BaRoN's soil test - Spring 2015
Hey Andy, coming back to this. Since you said hit the 19-19-19 until September, what should I be doing npk wise sept-nov, assuming I'll be winterizing around t-giving timeframe? Also, is there a recommended timeframe to space out the npk and lime/Epsom? Assuming I haven't done anything since this te...

Re: Wifi Sprinkeler Controller Review
I think it boils down how technical the individual is, and how much hand holding they need. IC can probably do exactly what someone like myself wants it to do, w/o the bells and whistles, and not having to pay for them either.

Re: ReD-BaRoN's soil test - Spring 2015
Hey Andy, in your professional opinion, is it's OK to put down 5lbs/k (~1 lbs N) in July and August? I'm in central MA, can get to 90 degrees, but not often.andy10917 wrote:Brian:

Thanks!

Re: Renovation Class Of 2015: Roll Call !!!
I'm in, roughly a 6k portion of my 30k. Shadier area, going bewitched monostrand. Too much different types of grass, multiple colors, triv, annua, who knows what else. It's a smaller, less noticeable portion of my lawn, so trying here first before I try more noticeable areas. Sent from my iOS device...

ReD-BaRoN's soil test - Spring 2015
Hey folks, A little late with my report this year, but here it is nonetheless. Would appreciate guidance on what do for the year. Only thing I've done since the sample is put Baystate down @ bag rate. I plan on doing a reno on the area the samples were taken from. Not sure if that accelerates applic...

If you want to be super accurate with lbs/K, use a drop spreader, otherwise, use a broadcast spreader.

Re: Grub Control in MA
OK, so would the consensus be that putting down GrubX now (6/1) (in Central MA) would be effectively be a waste of my time and $$$?

Re: Possible to have a showcase lawn on 1.5 acres?
Honestly, I'm doing 30k and barely keeping my head above water and never get down everything I'm supposed to, when I'm supposed to. It's a lot of work (and 3 kids under 8 doesn't help either).

Re: Grub Control in MA
I'm an imidacloprid fan, too. For me in New Hampshire, the right time to apply imidacloprid, which is preventative for next year's grubs, rather than a treatment for this spring's grubs, is late June (up until about July 4th, as paulr mentions). My favorite article on grub treatment and prevention ...

Removal of Large rocks
Sorry, not sure which forum this should go in, but I'm looking for some guidance on removal of large rocks from my yard. These rocks are like ice-bergs, just the tips of them are breaking the soil (enough for me to have to mow around). These are larger than I can dig out and remove by hand. I'm thin...

Cool - I just ordered 5# of Enhanced Bewitched from Summit. Gonna test a small area before I go gung-ho on the entire section.

I also may try to overseed my backyard with Bewitched. JG - will you be overseeding into your existing monostand of Blueberry (if I'm remembering your signature correctly), or just adding more to the shady areas? If just for the shade, are you going with an earlier timeline? I remember reading a Be...

Sorry, by that do you mean that use all PGPs on a zone for example, rather than mixing PGP and MPs for example?

Yes, one would think that. I'm just going to confirm behavior before I make any changes. Indeed, perhaps no changes need to be made.

Re: Takes way too long to get an inch down
That does make sense, thanks. So the nozzles will have to be to be planned to correlate with the coverage area.
