i am still adapting to deep and infrequent this season. seems 60 mins per zone in my area still isnt enough to wet it deep enough.

Re: Question about common bermuda
definitely not an expert but FWIW, mine has been several shades of green for months. it almost looks like some one spread nitrogen fert by hand. my soil has some very bad dense spots. im talking the screwdriver wont even go in 1/4-1/2". so have have stepped up my watering since my common has browned...

Re: Any pond/ algae experts in the house?

i love my traveling sprinkler. tractor supply. no problems to report except you cant make any major turns in the hose or it will come off track. every now and then i wake up in the morning and it is up against the fence with a small set of ruts behind it. it actually cracks me up. i cant use a spike...

Re: Any pond/ algae experts in the house?
Do you have aquatic plants in there to compete with the algae for the available nutrients? Water lillies would also help both by using the nutrients and shading the water surface so the algae starves of light.I would get both, and as many as the budget allows. As far as your UV sterilizers,be sure yo...

Re: Any pond/ algae experts in the house?

Celcius stunted my Zorro Zoysia and bleached it also. It lasted for a couple of weeks and is now going away. I may have over applied after reading what others said on how much to apply. It is back to growing fine now. So your Bermuda will probably bounce back even quicker... yes sir. im starting to...

"Goosegrass thrives on low mowing heights. Increasing the mowing height will prevent sunlight from reaching the seeds that are trying to germinate.
Goosegrass also thrives in soil that is compacted. Therefore, reduce traffic if possible and aerate."
