I am looking at spending $500 - 700 and hope to find something that will last. My lawn is TTTF, which is f...

Re: Heavy rate of encap.
Here's what is says on the bag. Was hoping I got the math right. Annoying thing is how each store has size different bag. Brought mine at BJ. Soil pH Rate (lbs./5,000 sq. ft.) 6.0 and above 30 lbs. / 1 bag 5.5 – 6.0 60 lbs. / 2 bags 5.0 – 5.5 90 lbs. / 3 bags Less than 5.0 120 lbs. / 4 bags

Re: Daimbert soil test 2017.
Andy,
How much Urea and Sulfate of Potash do I need buy. I found a turf supplier who can order both but needs to know whether to buy the 25lb or 50lbs bags. Then how do I apply it?

That's most definitely a hike from Bethpage. Wouldn't mind doing it but unfortunately I wouldn't be able to get there before they close.
Know any other place?

Re: Daimbert soil test 2017.
Thanks for the quick reply Andy.
Seems I might have to go the route of Urea and Sulfate of Potash. Many of the turf company that might have won't sell to me and all the box store and garden centers don't have anything either. Just advise me where to get it and how to apply it and I'm all good.

Re: Daimbert soil test 2017.
Hey Andy, Thank for the help with the interpretation. I know my PH is pretty low, it actually went up compared to last year. What is the eventual number I'm shooting for in the future? The only fertilizer I could find online that might be available at home depot a few miles away is a 18-0-18 Lesco w...

Here are the result from Logan Labs...I did one last year as well. I roughly have 2500 square feet between the back and front yard. Hogan blend TTTF was planted two year ago as a reno and over seeded this past September. All I have done was put down Anderson Pre-emergent with Balan and spot sprayed ...

Two week after pre-emergent, couple days after speed zone, poa showing up.
Well I put down pre-emergent about a week and half ago and spot sprayed some speed zone a few days ago. The reasoning behind the rush is simple. I'm going to be gone for about two to three weeks. Well woke up to do some trimming and mowing as the grass is actually growing quickly and guess what I se...

So I could get samples out today. Should I wait to put down fertilizer until I get the report back? Feel like I'm late to put it down already.

What can I salvage??
Hello everyone, Just wanted to get some advice. I've been completely out of it the last few months due to health issues with my son. Understandably, everything went on the back burner. Luckily my son got the help he needed and is on the mends. This weekend I finally was able to do the yard cleanup. ...
