Re: Northern GA K31 Summer Mow Height?
Your conditions are unique to you. My experience is you’ll need to do this via trial and error. There are few answers that are universal to every situation. Generally cool season grasses do better at higher heights. But Tall Fescue is prone to Brown Patch in summer months. My understanding is KY31 t...

I tend to wait for the process to complete.
I’ll let others run the risk. I know it’s heresy. But it’s just a lawn. I can wait.

Re: Seed Selection Process For My Future Renovation
Many folks have had success speaking with professors and NTEP folks. There’s little harm in reaching out.
In my experience many are happy to discuss turf.

Re: NTEP Data Import Into Google Sheets/Excel - Is there an efficient way?
You’ll want to avoid posting your results anywhere online. Your project is a violation of NTEP’s terms of service and might violate copyright.

Re: NTEP Data Import Into Google Sheets/Excel - Is there an efficient way?
I suspect your results will be sketchy at best. You’ll be comparing how one cultivar did against midnight in one time period against another cultivar vs midnight in completely different time frame. The thing you aren’t accounting for are other variables that are unique to each time frame. Again, I u...

Re: NTEP Data Import Into Google Sheets/Excel - Is there an efficient way?
Aside from Midnight and a few others, you’ll probably find that most of the cultivars are in the NTEP trials for only a few years. They them are replaced with newer cultivars.
Nice idea. But the data won’t be there for most of the cultivars across such a long time frame.

I’d fallow it. Look for signs of green then hit it again. Rinse and repeat through the rest of the spring.

Re: Anyone use a battery push mower?
Ive used the Battery Toro Super Recycler going into my third year. Great cut and easily cuts 1/3 acre on one charge. It comes with two blades. The performance blade gives a better cut. It is not pre-installed.

Re: Voles?
I don’t think anyone can accurately diagnose your problem from those pictures. Just too far away. My advice is to take samples to your local county cooperative. They’ll be able to give you accurate information without guessing (which is pretty common behavior on other forums)

I’ve always questioned the wisdom of using the Roundup name for this product.
I’m sure there are more than a few folks who don’t read the label and use the wrong kind of Roundup on their lawns…

My experience is this time of year, dog urine will cause dark green spots in your lawn. It only burns the grass during hot months.

Re: Are leyland cypress deer resistant?
Deer resistant can differ based on location and how hungry the deer are.
Leylans are beautiful trees. But they tend to topple in high wind conditions. That’s why I’d avoid them.

I’ll try to take a look later. Most of the articles have built in expiration dates (by the content management system). It may have just expired. A headline would help my search. But will do my best
