SOP as Micronutrients Vehicle

Question for the members: Has anyone used SOP as a vehicle for micronutrients? If so, was it a success?

Re: Are you up to the max height of cut for your lawn yet?

100% kBG...Raised deck from 2” to 2.5” today. I’ll keep it there till first of June. 3” for all of June. Hit my max of 3.5” first of July. Heat doesn’t hit hard here till late June. By hard I mean high 80’s low 90’s. I like the blades to get some time at each height to build strength.

Re: Core Aeration - Overseed and Fill

For what it’s worth...a couple years ago after moving to this home I had planned on core aerating. Article after article how it was a must do in the fall. Got bids and had it scheduled. Found ATY and started reading. Cancelled the aerating and started applying BLSC/KH instead. Probably my first good...

Re: Looking for CURRENT feedback regarding Honda HRX Suction Issues

I have an HRX217 (3 seasons) and I’ve read the same negative feedback regarding suction, specifically at the tire track area and the mulch/bag door not creating a good seal. I have never had a problem. I do narrow passes to ensure good blade coverage and I use the genuine Honda blades as well as the...

First mow at 2 inches. Lawn came through winter with flying colors. I’m a true believer in the aggressive fall nitrogen regimen.

Re: Lonnie's 2019 Soil Test

Oh, I’ll be sticking to the plan alright! Lawn drains quite well, now. I like to thank the BLSC for that. I have the Twenty Mule, SOP and Milo ready to go. The Milo works dramatically for color even with the high ph. Can’t wait for the bigger changes since I’ve seen so many good changes already. Tha...

Only concern was the micro herd not being awake enough to process. However, I hate to waste the OM.
