Kelp Help with Prodiamine?
I’ve read some of the posts here saying not to combine the blsc with prodiamine because it acts like a surfactant but am I able to spray the kelp help mixed in with the prodiamine? Figured I’d try to get the most bang for my effort here if it isn’t going to impact the functionality of the prodiamine...

Re: Overseed with 1" Rain expected?
I think you would experience, at a minimum, potential redistribution of your seed. Some will settle it though.
If watering isn’t an issue, I’d wait if the next week looks good or maybe do half now, half after?

Looks to be nutsedge. Sedge hammer or tenacity do a nice job on it. Treat it and don’t pull it out!

Re: All Crabgrass?
I went over and pulled some of them up, they are thin roots vs rhizomes. Used some round up on other plants I know where not crabgrass. He just had his septic tank replaced and I nuked the whole area there as it was growing some nasty stuff. Will lay seed in 2-3 weeks

All Crabgrass?
Helping out a neighbor who seems to have a bunch of crabgrass around, some of which is responding to treatment. I’ve down a blanket of WBG and spot treated with Quinclorac and MSO. I know mature CG is hard to kill but I’m wanting to see if you all agree that both of these pics are CG. https://i.post...

Re: Late September planting - Minnesota
Congrats on the expansion! I have seen people in my area (MA) pull off plantings as of 10-1 which obviously has to have so level of weather cooperation temp wise. So I think late Sept is possible but feel it depends on how warm things will be. As you said, some grass is likely better than none so I’...

Re: help with sod on top of hard clay
How much lawn are you talking? As for your two suggestions, they are good ones. The aeration will help break the clay and allow the water, compost (nutrients) and air to get in there. The baby shampoo, look at the blsc recipe here, will also help. I believe the sls in blsc will help chemically unbin...

Re: Spring PreM with large fall overseed?
I’d vote no preM, fight weeds, kill with glyco what you don’t like and then do a good overseed followed by the needed tenacity treatments as a preM.
