I collect leaves as well, many of them and I can’t point to any widespread issues. Especially if you’re using prodiamine, weed seeds shouldn’t be an issue. Maybe other diseases but I roll the dice. The OM is great for my Sandy soil

Valley green was higher than Ventura grain here in MA, 01748 zip. Still expensive though at 38.99

My local feed mill, 40 min away, is 38.99. Agway used to be $25 but green mountain went out of business and the guy said it’s not a good seller and not worth finding a new vendor. Valley Green wanted $53!

I agree, that looks like a decent covering if it’s KBG. Maybe start some pots to fill in holes in the Spring but I don’t think you need another full overseeding.

100% on that 7.5”, woke up Tuesday and poured out 4”, filled up another 3.5”. Just crazy steady rain

Monday into Tuesday we got 7.5” in the gauge and our local streams are barely moving, water absorbed really well into the ground. Awesome to see but we still need more!

We got down to 50 last night so I’m hoping this cooler night thing helps out. Going to add some BSF today before I cut. Rain Monday and Tuesday!
