Re: Tenacity Math
Why don’t you just use the syringe with teaspoons per gallon on it?

Re: Recovering from drought
We have some rain “scheduled” but we will see. I’ll add the Baystate this weekend and get it cut and see where it nets out. It’s so bad, will be amazing if it bounces back fully.

Recovering from drought
Like many others, I’m sure, drought hit hard this year and the lawn went into some severe dormancy, maybe death in some places. It’s KBG and I think it got enough water to survive. Few rainstorms lately and I see some life. Wondering if there is anything you’d suggest to help it along outside of mor...

Re: Tenacity in the fall for POA
I had very good success this year of an early spring ID application then raking and pulling it out. Definitely created some early holes but they are already filled is. Triv is a different story but a few wins here and there. The advise above is good, preM now, ID and pull in spring.

Yes town next to us allows a 2 week permit but not our town. Really wish they did.

Re: 4-6 hours Sun or Shade seed?
I had him order the SSS shade blend and I’ll mix it with some stuff I have here. It’s only about 8k sqft so we are going to do it up nice with some peat and compost. Full water ban here (for now) so let’s hope we get a change in the weather come sept.

Re: 4-6 hours Sun or Shade seed?
I’m going to get the shade mix and I have some shade kbg cultivars left over here that I’ll lay down first to give it a head start. We just went into a full water ban due to the lack of rain so hopefully we pull out of that. The plan is to get the seed down first week of September but we’ll definite...

4-6 hours Sun or Shade seed?
Helping a buddy with his lawn Reno this fall and I’m looking to get the seed. He estimates a 4-6 hour light period and when looking at the seed super store (example) they say under 4, go shade, over 4, go sunny mix.
Any thoughts on that? I’m leaning toward sunny mix

Re: Can anyone ID?
Thanks TT, went searching for summer hydrangeas and found “summer crush”, looks like a positive ID to me. Thanks again!

Re: Fertilizing now to slow red thread?
Thanks morph, I’ve not treated any fungicide in 3-4 years but I think it’s time. Prob start with the prop 14.3 as I have more of it.

Re: Fertilizing now to slow red thread?
I’m planning to dump cracked corn this weekend, then Baystate gets busy in august.
Of the 3 fungicides, one “preferred” over the other? Sprays are eagle and prop 14.3, granular is diseaseEX

Fertilizing now to slow red thread?
So I’m getting a bit too much RT in the last week or two and while I know it’s cosmetic, I don’t want it dominating the lawn. I have fungicides like eagle 20ew, propicanzanole, diseaseEX I could apply or I have urea to give it a blast of nitrogen. Is it too late in the summer for nitrogen (I feed or...

It’s the blooms and the subsequent bee attraction my buddy is trying to reduce. It’s by his pool in the backyard and his kids are terrified of bees lol!

Re: Adding Triclopyr to WBG
I think I remember hearing that. I’m not going to mix it (not my lawn) but how long after the wbg blanket app do you think it would be safe to tackle the clover with triclopyr?

Adding Triclopyr to WBG
Looking to do a blanket spray but can only find regular wbg - knowing the the OCC stuff has more triclopyr in it, can I add that to the mix when I spray or am I just asking for trouble (not a chemist!).
Thanks
