I just bought a JD D-130 @ Lowes. The list price was $1899, and b/c I'm a veteran-they now offer 10% daily. So that saved me ~$190. Right now, they're offering an additional $250 rebate. Got outside to examine the areas where I've been painting quack. It started to rain so I went to the garage and replaced the back wheels of my Honda HRR216. I've been using a Toro Lawn Striper and the weight is hell on the back wheels...

I just sent my soil test off to Penn State for a test so I'm awaiting the results. ...I realize this seed may contain noxious weeds - those aren't my concern as I will be plucking out any weeds that come up regardless as I do already...

I'm not sure if it's absolutely necessary, but I always alternate my mowing direction. I have a Toro lawn roller, and I like to see the diamond patterns on my lawn; which I achieve by alternating directions.

I'm curious about this myself. I have a infestation of quack in my front yard and purchased Certainty after reading several threads on here. I planned on conducting tests in my back yard first; if successful I would then move to the front yard.

Hey folks, newbie here. I've enjoyed reading the other posts. Today I mowed for the 7th time this season, removed some old leaves from the flower beds and painted quackgrass in the front yard with RU.
