When mulch breaks down it add some organic material. I did river jacks around shrubs near my pool. It looks nice but the weeds still pop up

Re: Serenade question

I've always went chemical for a curative. Then back to Serenade once it clears up. I been applying every 7-10 days as preventive since disease pressure is high. @ 4oz/ 1k

Re: Chapin 20v sprayer

Good questions but I have two batteries n one is always 100% charged. Filter clean n I do flush fresh water through also.

I guess it just a bad pump.

Chapin 20v sprayer

Bought mine for $136 from Amazon maybe 3-4 weeks ago. Used it a handful of times and now I'm having a problem with the pump. It will spray a little than sputter. It worked great at first but today I sprayed Serenade and it took a sh!t. I'm returning for a new one which is no problem since its Amazon...

Re: Is topdressing with compost worth it?

Compost is free in my town, so I do about 2 yards at least every other year. The front of my property is only 2500 sqft. So not a lot of labor. Back yard is low input at 20k sqft so it gets milo and urea few times per season. The other thing I like about compost is I have a few spots when I water th...

Re: Begonia fungus?

Thanks Morph..... part of the problem might be I planted them a little too close together. They are the same size as when I planted 4-5 weeks ago.

Re: Planted some Knock Out roses this weekend.

I have a quick question....when the blooms wind down just before they fall off, mine turn a light pink. My knock outs are red. Is that normal or is my soil lacking something?

My guess is fungus also.....they look like the width of lawn mower tire tracks. Fungus can be spread by your lawn mower wheels.

Re: 2017: What did you do on your lawn today?

Trapped 2nd squirrel in 2 days. Not target of choice. Them be chipmunks. Proving elusive. Squirrels faster to bait cause chipmunks are too hyper & don't stay in one area. When I put cracked corn down I get every bit of wildlife in a 10 mile radius. It was like a zoo one morning when I got up for work

4oz per 3??? Or 4oz/K?

I think I'm going to use it this year. I'll probably start this weekend.
