Re: Scott’s Fall 2020 Renovation
I would agree to wait until after day 14 closer to 21...but if there was obvious seed run off, I would drop some seed but other than that definitely give it another week and then re-evaluate.

Day 18 Now for the money eye level shots. Makes it look a lot better, when not adding photos from my deck. For the most part, the lawn bounced back nicely https://i.postimg.cc/Bt5PJ54J/62-DBDED2-3101-43-D3-9827-1-AD266471-C93.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/bs3GtzZM/828-C301-D-E4-F3-4-F17-9-AEA-67-BDD53104...

Sadly the timemaster has a broken belt and too lazy to rent borrow or buy a new mower, so used the 30in ride on for a first cut...remember my first post I said I was not going to use the best practices... so rode around slowly with HOC of 2.5in...had some saturated areas which I imagine will have so...

Re: Scott’s Fall 2020 Renovation
Personally I would put the dirt down, Roll it, if possible, and water it in. (Continue sporadic watering for at least a week)See what kind of weed seeds are in that dirt....initial putting dirt down will look level but things will change after a little time...see how level those areas are after the ...

Have the urge to walk the yard and look closer to see the effects of the heavy rain the first 48 hrs after seed down had. Definitely have areas that are thinner than others, and have to verify if water or seed...that’s need an adjustment... Approaching 14 days this weekend and I know the leaves will...

Re: Correct steps for lawn reno when dealing with triv?
I’m not a big fan of adding top soil as generally a lot of unwanted seeds (weeds) are usually present. For me I would get the unknown soil down after the 1st scalping. Fallow. And try to get any weed seeds to grow (hopefully there is none) but I have never been that lucky. And then plan glyphosate a...

Had more rain in the last 2 days than what I feel I received the entire summer...received just over 2 inches of rain in a 24 hr period ...not a good start to the renovation...have streams of peat moss throughout the yard as to where the excess rain fall dissipated throughout....hoping the seed staye...
