Re: Dad's Front Reno 2011 + Soil Test (Mass)
For entertainment purposes: can't really compare this as my dad has lived at his house for 35 years. compared with the soil I bought into 2 years ago (MY is mine before I came to this site and did anything with the soil) I'm due for a New soil test. Same town, thought I would show the comparisons. a...

Re: Dad's Front Reno 2011 + Soil Test (Mass)
The ph was expected, with the moss growing. Seed is going down next week regardless, of how awful the soil is. Believe it or not, I thought it was going to be worse, my dad has done nothing, except mulch mow, except for late fall, which would make Morpheus very sad, since he fills up 18 or so black ...

Re: Fertilizer burn - How to remedy it?
if i threw a dinner plate on them you would still see them around the edges, but not much more, I would guess a dozen through out the 12,000sq ft yard. Fertilizer burn - How to remedy it?
I know - you all are experts and it doesn't happen to you, but think back to when/if it ever did, What is the best way to treat spots with fertilizer burn? I imagine the spots (yes I have a few, where I turned the spreader (and did not water in that area fully) are completely dead and will be for a ...

I'm pretty confident that the soil will be lacking big time, and hope the starter fertilizer 2 weeks before setting the seed will negate some of that.....pre-pics have been added to the 1st post.
