Here are a few shots after the first mowing. I have a bunch of brown areas but it is greening up nicely. Also need to do battle with the weeds.

I already have the MG so as long as it doesn't hurt I will use it sparingly. I keep feeding the herd Milo and other organics so I hope that will be enough.

Hi Andy - I am working on building the herd. I know MG is only good for a short term boost. My question is will it hurt my efforts on improving the soil?

Second will the use of grub control hurt the herd?

Miracle grow for lawns gives it a nice shot of green and is easy to apply. Applying soluble nitrogen as a foliar spray increases the ability of turf to use nitrogen to improve the color, create a denser, healthy stand of grass and increase growth rate.
