Re: Milorganite sale

I had no issue with a price match at Lowe's. I just printed off the online sale page linked previousl...

Re: New to cool season grass
Wow you did a great job with the bermuda! Bet it paid off when it was time to sell. What are your long term plans for the Ohio turf? Keep the contractor selection or renovate? Have you done a soil test? Also suggest that you do a soil structure test (that you can do yourself). Short term you might w...

Re: Speed up seed germination
Once upon a time I stored some TTTF seed in a walk in freezer at work for a couple of weeks before I seeded. I do not think it helped. My opinion is that the seed will germinate when conditions are right (mainly the soil temperature and sufficient moisture).

Lowes has price matched the last two years (for me).bauer time wrote:I have a Lowes gift card I was going to use for Milorganite this year, but if this sale is true I may buy from True Value and use the gift card for something else.
Others have gone to HD and price match + 10% discount.

Without knowing what specific weeds you are dealing with, Ed Grimley and many others recommend andy1031420212461065594's "triangle" approach:

Started out last weekend with a 2.5" HOC (same as the fall height), I like it there. It will have to be longer though in the summer.

Thanks for the heads up oze. I use domyown because they ship fast, no tax, decent pricing.
Not to get off track but (for me) Lowes has price matched the true value sale price for Vitamin M the past two years. YMMV
