#5 looks like brown patch to me. I have a mild outbreak and sprayed Disarm M yesterday.
Here is some info on chemical fungicides:

Re: Nutsedge Pre-Emergant
I use glyphosphate (+ NIS) to kill yellow nutsedge in our landscaping beds. Works well for me. YMMV.
edit: yellow and purple nutsedge are also listed as a controlled perennial weeds on the Roundup label.

Re: Nutsedge Pre-Emergant
Lots of bad info on this thread. Triclopyr won't do a thing to yellow nutsedge. I wish it would. Glyphosphate will control nutsedge. It will also kill your grass. Tenacity is labeled for postemergence control for nutsedge. It works pretty well for me. That is my go to for postemergent nutsedge. I sa...

Re: 2017: What did you do on your lawn today?
Last Sunday, actually, but I took advantage of the warm weather by cleaning up the lawn. 4 bags of leaves from the neighbor's trees, assorted Christmas wrapping and Amazon boxes from last week's windy recycling day, and scooped up the last Doggie-Organite our Cocker Spaniel will ever contribute. He...

Re: Pesticide Applicator Training
I have a TN private applicator license (not commercial). I can spray a neighbor, friend, etc. property for barter but not for cash payment. I thought it was well worth it for me personally.

If you are concerned that Dac is going to kill you, then you should never, ever get in a motorized vehicle.

Re: Newbie Lawn Chick Renovating
Many here do not recommend core aeration - it does bring buried weed seed to the surface. But if you think you have compaction and want to core aerate, you should do it. I personally like the cores because they break up and provide nice soil-seed contact. If you use Tenacity at seeding and pre-emerg...

Re: Newbie Lawn Chick Renovating
Here is a guide that provides the basics for seeding and watering. http://aroundtheyard.com/faqs/61-steps-to-overseeding-steps-to-new-establishment.html You can apply Tenacity at 4 oz/acre at seeding. For Upstate NY, most have already dropped seed (seems mid August is the timing for KGB in your area...

Re: Show us your Lawn
I should mention that my sister finally lost her battle with cancer in June. She fought long and hard 2 1/2 yrs beyond her original prognosis. So to be honest, my heart wasn't into my yard this year. I'm very sorry for your loss. It seems as though everyone has someone in their life that has had ca...

Re: Walmart Milorganite Sale
I was at a local Walmart last night ... He said "Wow this shit stinks, I should pay you a dollar per bag to get it all out of here". I ended up paying $1 per bag for 19 bags. Gotta' love it! I would have said "I'll take it in store credit for taking it off your hands". Then off to the next wally wo...

Re: Mixing chemicals with water in a 4 gal. Backpack spraye
I use a 5 gallon bucket (calibrated with 1 gallon marks), fill it with water and chemicals. Then mix it with a paint mixer for 15 seconds or so, and pour in the sprayer. The 20V Chapin has a huge top opening that makes this easy peasy.
