Testing Sta-Green Rapid Lime
I bought my maintenance dose of "new process" Lime today for the Poa Plantation, and used the Sta-Green Rapid Lime to test as a product on the Lime "recommended list". We should see if it is as good as the three on the list in 90 days.
Who was it that said that they had info that it was rebranded Solu-Cal? Where did that info come from?

I'm curious as to what is included in your testing. Can you elaborate?

Not quite 90 days out, but was wondering how the eval was going.

I'll have to grab a bag. I'm not sure exactly how to describe what the "regular" lime I used did... by the lawn seemed to suffer for a week or so after I applied it.
Here's my theory - the cheap limes reduce porosity on top of the soil by creating a "seal" of sorts as they slowly dissolve. Thoughts?

What evidence is there for your theory? A "seal of sorts" sounds vague...
