MTEastTN 2019 Soil Test
Year 4 for this TTTF yard. Previous soil tests were posted as “Darkcrisis’ Parent’s Soil Test”.
Last year not much happened except a few applications of Milorganite, 1 application of Boron and Copper, and the Fall Nitrogen Regimen. There is no free Organic Matter to speak of which is quite apparent from the soil test results.
This year we hope to continue to improve where needed and hope for a successful overseed this fall!
Thanks so much!

I don't see a Link to this thread in the Soil Test Interpretation Queue, which means you're not in the schedule to get an interpretation done. During the busy season, it's very easy to get buried in the shuffle - get your test results thread into the Queue...

Got a link to the earlier soil tests too? 2018 and 2019 are pretty different.
OM is consistently bad on both. That one requires some sweat equity.

Here are the links to the previous year interpretations:

2016: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=19100&p=262768&hil ... ts#p262768
Hopefully this will help shed some light.
I used a Pro Plugger to take the soil samples this year. Previous years I used a bulb planter or small shovel but that shouldn't make a different. Soil samples were taken between 3" - 4" inches throughout several areas of the entire yard. Looks like I may have my work cut out for me this year!

Yeah pro plugger is great. Shouldn't make a difference.
Thanks for the previous test links. They give me a better big picture.
Your ph has been slowly creeping up. OM is consistently not good. Major cations fine, but P is consistently lower.
I would do a spring and fall app of TSP at 2 lbs per K, keep milorganite flowing to your budgets content, and keep up the Nitrogen.
And apply OM, OM, OM. I get that older parents may not be up for the physical labor, but if you can do something there it will help.
Andy will have to check out micros.

In the micro's, it's Boron and Zinc. Get Twenty Mule Team laundry soap from the grocery, and Zinc Sulfate from Amazon or EBAY. Apply each at 3 tablespoons/K every 60 days, as outlined in the Micronutrient Application Guide.

Thank you HLG and Andy! This should be pretty easy to manage. I will get working more on the OM this year.
