Brand New gardener

Post by Fab4Lawn » September 9th, 2020, 10:21 pm

Hi. I have a home I'm trying to make look really nice.

Years ago established a border with bricks but never finished doing what I want. First I want to get this section ready to have plants in general. Never mind ph and moisture just yet. What's the first step and how do I that.

The section that a surrounded by bricks used to have these (the plants circled). I just took a mower and went over it. How do I prepared it? Do I take a shovel and dig everything out? Or can I like do something else to save the soil I have there

Please and thanks

I've been chewing on this. What do you want to do with it? It looks neglected, which is actually not a bad thing.

But are we talking lawn, garden, vegetables?
