Ammonium Acetate Testing Needed?

Post by cjac9chris » January 2nd, 2021, 2:34 pm

Hi Andy,
I'm about to send off my first ever soil test to Logan Labs.

I'm in North Central San Antonio, TX on what I think is clay soil.

I saw a fair bit of limestone about 8-12" down where a stump was ground awhile back. I can only assume that's under the lawn as well.

Am I close enough to Austin or on the right conditions that necessitate checking the ammonium acetate testing box?

Thanks in advance!

Chris

Err on the side of being conservative - request Ammonium Acetate testing.
