prorange 2021 Soil Report
Back again for 2021 interpretation. New house and new yard this year. I'm working with 15,000 sf of lawn (5k front, 10k back) of Bermuda 419. I'm also on septic, so half of the backyard has a drainfield. This report is representative of the entire yard combined. Looking forward to ST6's help again...you guys rock!

It must be "National Low-TEC Week".
The new yard is in the very, very low TEC category, which makes it quite prone to leaching out the nutrients you apply. The OM% is at around 3% and just made it to the Mediocre range. Apply as much organic matter as possible in the form of peat moss, compost, mulched leaves, etc.
In the cations, it's across the board shortages, and the only reason why it doesn't look worse is that the TEC bar is so low. Trust me, you'll be working on this for quite a while. Apply Calcitic Lime at 9 lbs/K mixed with 2 lbs/K of Epsom Salt. Every 90 days,
The Phosphorus is one of the lowest I've every seen, at 16 lbs/acre. Since both the Phosphorus and Potassium are deficient, we can use a balanced fertilizer like 10-10-10, 19-19-19, etc. Pick one and post the NPK for application rate and frequency. This will cover the Nitogen too.
Iron is also short. 2-3 lbs/K of Ferrous Sulfate every 60 days.
Not to miss the party, in the micro's Boron, Copper and Zinc are all short. Let's hold on those until 2022...
Sorry Prorange, you've got serious work ahead...

Re: prorange 2021 Soil Report
Thanks Andy! Here's 2 options I can go with on Fertilizer at my nearby landscaper supply:
I couldn't tell from the label if either were "slow release" or if that's necessary. I do have an irrigation system that covers the entire yard.
20-20-20

Either is fine. 20-20-20 goes down at 5 lbs/K, or the 10-10-10 goes down at 10 lbs/K. Less lugging of bags with the 20-20-20. Apply monthly during the Bermuda growing season.
