Darkcrisis 2021 Soil Test
I’m back again for the 7th season. This sample was taken from various sections throughout my 6000sqft TTTF lawn.
Last year I didn’t get to spend as much time in the yard or on the forum as I normally do. I did, however, apply SOP and Nitrogen a few times at 2lb/K. Moss-out was applied a few times as well. I did not get any Milorganite or Boron put out like I was supposed to, but will do that this year to make up for it. The Fall Nitrogen Regimen was followed and the results are amazing as always.
I don’t irrigate weekly, but do when the lawn starts to show stress. I typically mow at around 4” in the heat of the summer and drop it down gradually during the fall to 3”. I do battle brown patch every summer but am able to control it when it starts to show up.
My goal for 2021 is to spend more time on the forum and the lawn.
Thanks for your time and help!

Re: Darkcrisis 2021 Soil Test
Not too bad...
With a TEC over 10 and a OM% over 3 (mediocre), you've got a soil that is a medium Loam. Adding to the OM would be a good thing, but somehow you're getting away with it the way it is - lucky you!
In the cations, all three of the main ones are slightly high and you're lucky again - it's not resulting in an alkaline pH. Do you go to Church a lot?
Phosphorus i also fine.
Iron is a little low, but not enough to hurt color. 2-3 lbs/K of Ferrous Sulfate once or twice this season will probably bring that in line.
In the micro's, only Boron is low. Get that application of Boron done.
Nitrogen is up to you. Not much work to do for this year - have an adult beverage. Maybe two...

Thanks, Andy! I appreciate your direction over the years! I just wish you had a magic brew to kill the triv.
