coldlawn soil test 2021
Here is my soil test from this year. No major updates to what I described in my post last year: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=25813
At a glance, I don't see anything too surprising in the test results, other than I'm not sure what to make of the sodium number. The lack of a significant increase in organic matter is no surprise as I did not do well or prioritize that last year. I am hoping to do a little bit better with that this year.
I do have some Anderson's Humic DG to put down and I'm stocked up with a Milorganite knock off to start dropping soon too.
I did see some really nice improvements in the lawn last year and I have to give the credit to this site for that. I appreciate all the great conversation and content here, hopefully I can contribute more to it as I up my lawn game and knowledge. Thanks for taking the time to look at my soil test.

Ummm, second verse same as the first -- stick with the 2020 plan. It's working.
You can put 2 lbs/K down of the Humic DG down now, but hold the second application in late August (the normal "just before the heat" is too close now).
What is it about the Sodium number that's bothering you?
Get on that OM supplementation!!

Thanks Andy. For the sodium, I was just wondering if there was a scientific reason for the drop or if it was something less interesting...like my samples were taken further from the road.
Should I just drop the micros once at 3 tablespoons/K?

It's borderline on the micro's - sure, hit it once.
On the Sodium, it could be sampling difference or science - I dunno. Sodium is like Dysentery - it feels so good when it's gone.
